![]() Best I can think is that Logitech codes for the 975 are incorrect. ![]() Trouble is if you turn the 975 on with the Outlaw remote, the Logitech remote turns it off again when you ask it turn on an activity from power off state which means the Logitech is probably sending a Power Off instead of an Power On at the power on stage, unless the power on/off is a toggle then I am lost. You can go to the individual devices on the remote and turn it on from there, but it will not work when it is part of an activity. Did not work.īottom line is that the Logitech Harmony Touch is not compatible with the 975. I created a new device (fictitious) and learned all the commands from the remote and set up an activity to turn it off and on only. I created an activity with just the Outlaw 975, no input change so all it was supposed to do is turn it on and off. Note that I have tried manually programming the remote for the Power On function for the 975 but this makes no difference. It appears that the Power On function for the 975 does not work when used as part of the activity power on sequence. In other words once the 975 is on, everything works correctly.īasically the Logitech remote is supposed to power up all the items required for the activity and select the appropriate inputs on the items. Once the system is running I can change activities and inputs on the 975 as per the programming on the Logitech remote. Problem, of course, is that I have to select an activity on the remote, then power on the 975 using the remote separately and then select the correct input manually (or change activities which works and then go to the original one I wanted). If I go to the screen on the Logitech remote for the 975 and select Power On it works correctly and when I want to turn off the 975 and associated equipment, the Logitech remote works correctly. ![]() It will not turn the 975 on for any of the activities I select. I have reprogrammed the Harmony Touch to use the 975 (Logitech have the codes in their database) but I have an issue. It provides HDMI switching and the HD sound format decoding which my older Rotel did not do for a third of the price! I have only one problem which is not really related to the 975 but the use of Logitech Harmony Touch remote control with the unit. I am a new owner of a 975 processor which I recently received and used to replaced a Rotel Processor that had developed a nasty fault.
